Customer Support Agent
I applied to Manychat and overall had a great experience with the interview process. It started with a conversation with a recruiter to go over my background and learn more about the role. The recruiter was friendly and explained the next steps clearly. After that, I went through a few additional interviews that focused more on my previous experience, how I handle different situations at work, and some questions related to the role. The conversations felt relaxed, and the interviewers were easy to talk to. There was great communication throughout the process, and the team kept me updated on the next steps. Overall, it was a smooth and well-organized interview experience.
- Could you explain what an API is in simple terms, as if you were talking to a child or someone not tech-savvy?
Data Analyst
I went through all the interview stages, investing a significant amount of time and preparation. While the interviews were professional and organized, I received no update after the final stage. I followed up to ask about the status and never received a response (it has now been more than a month). I understand that hiring processes can be complex and that priorities change, but after asking candidates to dedicate so much time and energy, providing at least a brief update would be the minimum level of respect and professionalism.

Senior Recruiter
I had a chat with a Recruiter (Marina) on OCT 16th that went very well where the recruiter was very lovely. I followed up a week after and was told that the team lead is excited to meet me and that she sent me a scheduling link which I didn't receive. I told her that I unfortunately didn't receive it and if she can send it again but got no reply after that. Two follow ups after that and I still didn't a response until now (1 month and counting). It's extremely strange that I get completely ghosted after being told that my interview was great and they're very excited to meet with me again, and even more strange to do this to a recruiter. Terrible experience on your end, and reading through other reviews I see that I wasn't the only one.

Software Team Lead
The interview process at Manychat was pretty structured and they kept me in the loop about everything. It kicked off with a call from HR to chat about my background, my experience, and if I was a good fit for the role. Then, I had a technical interview with the hiring manager and a tech lead. In this round, we worked through some problems using pseudocode, and I had to explain my thought process based on the tech mentioned in the job description. No live coding happened. The last interview was a management one with the hiring manager and the Head of Engineering. We talked about working together, how the team operates, and general expectations. They gave me feedback after each step, which felt pretty good and like they really considered things. What was cool was how much you could feel the company culture, which came through in the questions they asked and how thorough they were.
- Discuss memory management strategies.
- How do you optimize for performance?
- Explain async programming concepts.
