I had an interview with HR first, then the team leads chatted with me and gave me more info about the job, and then they gave me a quick technical test. After that, I met with the department head. Everything was online and it went well. It took about 3-4 weeks total from when I applied to when they gave me the offer.

Behavioral Presentation

There were three interview rounds with my potential senior mentor. The first round was about my background and education, and why I wanted to apply. Then I was given a task to prepare for presentation in a few days. The second round involved presenting my topic using slides, and the interviewer gave feedback and asked questions about it. The third round was about the job itself, discussing the basic salary (excluding bonus), promotion prospects, and responsibilities. I was pretty sure I'd get the offer at that point.

Behavioral Technical Case

I interviewed for Manulife Investment Management. First I had a phone call with a recruiter. Then I went in person for an interview with a Director. This Director was really rude and condescending. He went over my resume and questioned my 2-month job gap and my previous jobs. He also complained about a former employee who only worked 9-5 and didn't go above and beyond. After that, I had a virtual interview with a Managing Director who was nice. They require an accounting test after the final rounds. I felt like I dodged a bullet because there were too many red flags during the Director interview.
