the interview process was a panel and it was weird. the senior manager was condescending and had a weird demeanor. he put me down multiple times throughout the interview in praising in the current co-op student. weird experience, would not want to work for someone like this.

So first, they'll check out your application, resume, and cover letter to see if you're a good fit. If you make the cut, a recruiter or HR person will probably give you a call to chat about your background and why you're keen on Manulife. Then, there might be an online test or assessment to check out your problem-solving and analytical chops. If the job needs specific tech skills, you'll have a technical interview to dive into business analysis stuff and maybe work through some scenarios. They'll also want to know about your past experiences in a behavioral interview, like how you handle tough projects or work with others. Sometimes, you'll face a whole group of interviewers at once, or maybe they'll give you a case study to work through to see how you think. They also care about whether you'd fit in with their company culture. The very last interview could be with a big boss, talking about your career goals and how you'd contribute long-term. If all that goes well, they'll check your references, and then hopefully, you'll get a job offer with all the details. Keep in mind, not everyone goes through all these steps, and it can change, so it's good to ask them directly if you're unsure.

It was a really fast interview process. I only had one phone interview with my manager. The current intern, who I would replace, was also on the call. She asked me typical behavioral questions and also about my past work experience. She did look at my transcript, so be ready to talk about any lower grades. If you can explain them, it's fine. Make sure to have some questions for both the current intern and the manager.
