It was a pretty standard interview process, nothing out of the ordinary. I had discussions with different leaders there and we talked about the role and what would be expected of me. It's a good idea to research the company before you interview, which is true for any place.

Had an initial phone interview, then they scheduled me for an in-person interview. They mentioned that an offer would be contingent on a contract award. About four months after that, I had a second in-person interview and they again mentioned that they were waiting on a contract award before extending an offer.

I heard about this opportunity through a friend-of-a-friend. We exchanged a few emails where I sent my resume, and the person at ManTech was really helpful in explaining the job. I then did the online application and met the person for lunch to chat more. The actual interview was at their office. The whole thing took about 6 to 8 weeks. The interview itself had 3 people and went on for a bit over an hour. I heard back within a week that I didn't get it because they were looking for a PM with more experience and seniority.
