Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MANTECH.
Administrative Assistant
The interview was a panel interview, and the questions were pretty direct. A lot of the questions were scenario-based. It was a great experience, and the interviewers were nice. The process was well-organized. They also had this implicit test to see if I could be resourceful enough to find the interview location using the directions they gave me. The directions were clear, but some people have gotten lost before.
- Describe how you would manage interacting with someone who has a challenging personality.
- What's your approach to prioritizing your daily tasks?
- How would you manage a situation where you have two projects with the same deadline?
Administrative Assistant
I had a phone interview that was about an hour long. They kept talking about their new merger and how it would affect me and asked how I felt about it. Then, I had two personal interviews before getting hired. After being hired, I had a few days before I started working.
- Could you tell me about your weaknesses and how you deal with strong personalities?
Executive Assistant
It was a three person panel interview. The panel made me feel very comfortable, were well prepared, professional, and did a good job describing their company. Each person took their time asking questions and allowed plenty of time for me to answer.
- Have you worked with or supported high-level individuals before?
