Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MANTECH.
System Analyst
The interview went well. The interviewer explained the position and its responsibilities. They were very knowledgeable about the company and the role, and they answered all my questions. I'm hoping for an offer because of the benefits they told me about.
- Do you know what belowdeck and flight deck are?
Systems Analyst
First you'll talk to HR, they'll tell you about the benefits and ask why you're leaving your current job and what you're looking for in a new one. Then, you'll have a technical interview with the team. The technical questions will be specific to the field you're applying for. They're not just looking for syntax knowledge, but also understanding of the concepts behind the code. Keep in mind, there are also subcontractors involved in the hiring process.
- What motivated your departure from your last position?
- What is your reason for looking for a new job?
Business Analyst
The interview process was a bit disorganized. It started with some generic questions and lengthy explanations about what the team does. After that, there was a written skill test, though I'm pretty sure it didn't really impact the hiring decision.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Why are you interested in this role?
