& Process

I met with three hiring managers. The interviews were fair but direct and impersonal. I was required to take an IQ test and an exam for writing basic to moderately difficult SQL statements based on a list of twenty or more questions. The work environment seemed decentralized, with many people either working from home or out of the office.

Overall 5 rounds. 1st round (Written): Java aptitude , Java programs, SQL queries. 2nd round (F2F-Technical): Based on written programs and CV, covers almost all topics of Java, some spring questions and work related questions etc. 3rd round (F2F-Managerial): Less of technical more of situation based, e.g. How would you tackle some issue which is not replicated etc 4th round (F2F-Directorial): Why leaving current organization, Any questions etc. 5th round (F2F-HR): common behavioral , personality and cultural fit questions etc. Overall the process was very streamline and the people were really nice.

The interview starts with a written test. After clearing the written interview, there was a technical round. The panel was mostly focused on project related questions. They asked about the project architecture. Further, they asked that do you have the knowledge of Springboot, Hibernate, REST. The they asked to the write a REST api for displaying the values from the database. What is Lazy initialization in hibernate? What is the get function and load function in hibernate? What is bean class, why do you use it and how is it different from POJO class? What are primitive datatypes and Wrapper classes and how are they different. Overall process is very slow and panel is also not that much efficient.
