I applied at the end of November 2024 and got the first update email on February 1, 2025. Since the shop isn't open yet, I get the delay. However, it took 11 days for the next email and another week for the actual interview. I heard back two weeks later about a second stage interview scheduled in 10 days. I was expecting a call with an update on whether I got into the third stage. Another 10 days passed, and I received an email saying I didn't make it to the final stage, with no feedback provided (even though it was promised during the second interview). The interviews themselves went well, with the second one being much more in-depth. I get that it's a process, but 44 days for just two stages and zero feedback is excessive.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Had a telephone interview which was really vague and basic, not really about my personality or successes. Then a face-to-face interview with the Area VM Manager, which was similar, not really asking about me as a person or my values. The practical exercise was done in the middle of the afternoon during the busiest time in the store with limited product knowledge and few new pieces, which was tough. I would have preferred a dedicated space or a less busy time, or even a SWOT analysis would have been better. The questions were very basic, and I wasn't given details about salary or benefits, which is usually provided to make the candidate feel valued. I ended up withdrawing my application because it didn't seem like a company that values its employees. The interview felt like a waste of time, not exciting.

The first interview was an online conversation. They mainly asked about my past experience, the tasks I handled, my responsibilities, and my day-to-day activities. There weren't any strange or difficult questions; it was mostly a discussion about my previous work.
