& Process

It's a standard three-step process. First, you'll meet with a hiring rep. After that, you'll meet with middle management, and then finally upper management. Once you're done with the upper management interview, you'll get an offer, likely at the lower end of what you were expecting.

The interview process had 4 stages. First, a group activity where we had to decide on a business idea as a group, meeting certain requirements. Second, an HR interview where they asked about my motivation, how I describe myself, and how others would describe me in positive and negative aspects. Third, an interview with the manager (technical) where a problem related to the specialty I'm applying for was presented. Fourth, an interview with the partner, who also asked about how to solve a problem, in my case, in banking.

I applied in late June 2024 and shortly after got an email from a rep with some questions. She mentioned they'd be interviewing soon. In mid-July, I received an email to schedule an interview. I had the interview that Friday. They said I'd hear back in 2 weeks. I'm still waiting a few days later. The interview was easy overall, with both the recruiter and a Subject Matter Expert present. They asked about my experience and capabilities. Both interviewers were very nice and easy to talk to. The interview lasted about 25 minutes. They got back to me with an offer 9 days after the final interview. I'll be subcontracted. The pay was more than I expected or asked for, and I accepted.

Easily the worst experience I've ever had. It felt like the house was on fire and nobody did anything. You'd think if you were about to hire someone you wouldn't leave them in the dark week after week after week after giving them an offer. 4 Fridays passed without a deal and I had to sit there on the weekend affected by it because I took their word at face value. These people ruined my mental health for a month and I seriously would not trust anything they say or do. They also offered a salary that was much lower than it should have been (29K lower in my case). Their job descriptions are regularly misclassifying employees, and they have "Jr Developers" requiring mid-level responsibilities, which if I'm not mistaken is illegal for a federal contractor. They're obviously banking the difference with the fully loaded rates they charge the government. Oh, and they pay their inexperienced PMs more than their lead developers, if that says anything. I'm extremely lucky to have been picked up before having to work there; I've seen their other reviews and there's no way I'll work with them after the experience I had. So many red flags.........
