Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Major League Baseball (MLB).
Legal Coordinator
I did some online screening questions that were recorded. Then I had interviews with two different employees. Things seemed to go well, and I sent a thank you email, but I never heard back. There were 3 interviews over a few weeks, and then I didn't even get a standard email saying they weren't moving forward with my application.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Legal Intern
The interview process was excellent. Very professional. They asked basic questions like "tell me about yourself" and "what are your experiences", but also fun questions regarding interest in the sports business.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you tell me about your experiences?
- Do you have any interest in the sports business?
Legal Assistant
The process started with a HireVue recording, which I wasn't a big fan of, but it had the usual questions. After that, I spoke with three lawyers I would be working with. Those questions were also pretty standard, and they were all easy to talk to.
- What's an issue in MLB right now?
- Tell me about a time you were detail-oriented.
