Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Main Event.
Operations Manager
Phone Screen was very to the point with good questions. The first In Person interview was extremely professional, they had great vision and asked great questions. The second In Person interview was still very professional with an emphasis on the direction of the brand. They also did a Day in the Life (DIL) which was great for understanding what the job would be like. Everyone was extremely open and honest.
- What would you change about the industry and why?
Operations Manager
It was a 3 step interview process, a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview and then a short working interview "Day in the Life". This 3 step process was a great way to learn more about the company and the position and really gave you the opportunity to make sure that this position and company was right for you. I really enjoyed this process and going through all the stages, because of the interview process I am very confident and excited to be joining the Main Event team in my new position.
- What are your non-negotiables for a successful leader?
Operations Manager
The interview process at Main Event Entertainment was really simple and fun. It gave me a chance to see the company culture and if I was a good fit. It was a really great experience, very stress-free. The 'A Day in the Life' part was awesome because I got to spend time at the center and interact with the team and other managers from different departments to see what my day-to-day would be like. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I'd recommend it.
- What is your definition of guest satisfaction?
- Can you tell me about the greatest challenge you faced with your past employees?
