The interview was half random logic problems, which didn't seem related to the actual job of answering software support calls. It felt like they were intentionally making it hard for a support role. If you're interviewing here, be prepared for brain teasers that won't help with the actual work.

Technical Coding Behavioral

I was invited to the MagView office for a knowledge test. This test involved questions on basic C (or Java) programming, a SQL question, a brief rewriting task, and a few logic problems. Following the test, I had a face-to-face interview with the supervisor and a team leader. They inquired about my background and some personal details. They provided their business cards and mentioned they would contact me soon regarding my status. However, they never followed up, and even my attempts to reach them via the emails on their cards were ignored. It was quite disappointing, as I expected better conduct from a Hi-Tech company.

Technical Other

So I applied and got an email to schedule an in-person competency test. After getting quick email replies, which seemed like a good start, I scheduled a time to go take the test. It took about 1.5 hours, which was longer than the 1 hour it was supposed to take. I drove 30 minutes to get there and another 30 minutes back home. You'd think they would at least let me know I didn't get the job, but nope. No emails, no calls, not even an automated rejection. Don't waste your time driving up there for a basic IQ and tech knowledge test plus a worksheet. I don't think anyone even reviewed it.

Technical Behavioral

The process included a test and then an interview. The interviewer asked standard interview questions. I found the interviewer to be friendly and it made me feel comfortable. The questions weren't too hard overall. I think they were trying to gauge personality. I thought the process was good. I'm curious about the test too. I didn't do great on it, but they still interviewed me.
