Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Magna International.
Financial Analyst
First, an HR call to talk about your application and when you're free, and to set up the next interview. Then, a video call with the Associate Controller and the Controller. The final interview was in person, still with them.
- All questions were behavioral.
Financial Analyst
Applied online, had a recruiter phone call, then an in-person panel interview. It was an entry-level role, so there were a lot of behavioral questions and some basic accounting questions. They also asked about my experience and interest in the auto manufacturing industry.
- What drew you to a career in auto manufacturing specifically?
Financial Analyst
It was a one way interview through a third party site. No feedback was given. It felt like a waste of time, and I wouldn't suggest applying.
- Tell me about a time you used big data to solve a problem.
