There were 3 rounds in the interview. The rounds covered DSA, and Programming in Java with OOP, Collections Framework, and Streams. Also covered C#, JavaScript - Async Code, Thread Pool, Async-await, Callback functions, Promises, Modules, Import Export, DOM, JavaScript Sorting Algorithm, and JavaScript Searching Algorithm.

I interviewed for a senior engineer role on the Browser team. It started well with a good recruiter chat and then a great conversation with the hiring manager who seemed really passionate and sold me on the role. The first technical round with a senior engineer is where things went south. The interviewer was 20 minutes late and unresponsive to messages. Despite that, the interview itself went well. I was asked basic C++ questions and solved a medium-difficulty dynamic programming problem in about 25 minutes. We also had a good chat afterward about the day-to-day, running overtime. I felt good about it until two days later when the recruiter said they were moving on with others due to my experience not meeting requirements. When I followed up with questions, I got no response, which was disappointing.

I went through the interview process for a 1099 contractor role. Had a really bad experience and bowed out. They require 100% relocation to work onsite, but they refuse to do any onsite interviews (only remote) so I could see the work environment, product, and location. They don't cover relocation or a sign-on bonus, and they won't negotiate for a kill fee or severance in the contract. They basically want candidates to take the job without seeing it and to pay for their own relocation exploration. I didn't get to the technical stages, so I don't know what that's like. I do know the team wanted to move fast and that I'd have a 3-4 hour interview, then get an offer if it went well.
