I applied for a new role at Magic Leap and heard back from the recruiter really fast. They were great at setting up the interviews and keeping me in the loop. It started with a good chat with the hiring manager. Then, I had technical interviews with the team's engineers. They were upfront about the company's stability. I didn't get the job in the end. The questions were pretty standard, nothing too out there. Since Magic Leap makes headsets, they probably want someone with experience in that specific area. It was a decent experience overall, and I hope they post more roles soon.

The process was mainly nice and quick. I realized on the second call that the job wasn't really for me, but I went through with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th phone interviews anyway. The worst part was that one interviewer was a no-show for our scheduled Hangouts call; I waited over 20 minutes. He eventually showed up 40 minutes late and emailed me to ask if I could call his US cell. I did, even though I was calling from Europe and the call ended up costing me over $80 USD. That whole thing was a bad experience.
