The interview process I went through was really simple and quick. First, I had a good chat with the HR team, where they gave me a general idea of the company's vibe, what they expect, and the chances for growth. After that, I was lucky enough to interview with the head of the department I wanted to join. This interview gave me a better understanding of the daily tasks, the department's objectives, and how I could grow in the role. It was through this organized and thorough process that I ended up getting placed on the team, ready to start contributing and build my career.

Applied online in April for the Student Associate role for Fall/Spring. Submitted my resume and took the MSG personality test. About a month later, I got selected for the next step, which involved some asynchronous questions (like why MSG, what I hoped to gain, availability). About 2 days after that, they set up a Zoom interview. I spoke with 2 hiring managers for 30 minutes. They were really nice. Got my offer by phone call 2 weeks later.

I had a phone interview in January for a summer position. After that, it felt like my application entered a black hole. I didn't get a response from HR unless I emailed them first asking for an update. I did this about 2-3 times, politely, and received a "we've filled all the spots" email in the middle of April. I feel like I wouldn't have even received that email if it weren't for the fact that I reached out asking for an update with the selection process.
