This was one of the most unusual interviews I've ever been through. A former colleague who works there reached out and gave me some pointers on what to focus on. The interview was solely with HR, but she didn't ask me much about myself. I answered the few standard questions she did ask, and she mentioned she'd email me soon to arrange a call with the hiring manager. She covered all the job specifics, including office location and interview dates, but then I never heard back. I followed up a few times, but there was no response. It was disappointing because this was a company I was really eager to join.

Applied online twice and heard back 3-4 weeks later. Then had a 15-minute phone interview with the recruiter about my work history, interest in the role/company, and salary expectations. After that, I didn't hear anything back, even after following up via email. It's frustrating when companies ghost potential employees, especially when the position remains open for two months afterwards. Communication would be appreciated, even if it's just to say they've moved on with other candidates. It makes me hesitant to apply again.
