The first step was a phone call where they talked about my past experience and why I wanted to join Machinio. It felt pretty good. The next step was a role-play interview. There was a role play for a cold-call and a solution demo. I was told there would be a part of the second interview focused on the position and what success looks like there, but they didn't get to it and didn't let me ask questions. They didn't tell me about a decision until I asked them.

I applied online. The HR team reacted quickly and asked to set up an initial 30-minute introduction call. This call was to go over the role, the company, and the contract details. They also asked about my motivation. It was all very quick and straightforward.

Behavioral Technical Case

The whole interview process had four stages. It included a phone chat, an interview with the hiring manager (who I think was a senior director or head of director), a scenario-based interview, and a team interview. The first phone interview was with the recruiting manager, and it was pretty casual. They mostly wanted to know if I spoke any European languages, what my salary expectations were, and given my background, if I'd be alright working with the China market.
