I applied online and then had a phone interview scheduled quickly which was straightforward, mostly asking about my background. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview that seemed to go well and lasted about an hour. The interviewers, who were very nice and hardworking, were looking for someone with a similar work ethic. Following that, I had another meeting to meet the team and chat, which was brief. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back since.

I got referred by someone I know and the whole thing from applying to the phone interview all the way to the in-person interview took around 4 to 5 weeks. First, I had a phone chat with the hiring manager. If that went well, they sent me a skills test which had an HTML test, an Excel/data test, and a writing/grammar test. They also asked me to write the lede for an email. After that, there was an in-person interview with 2 to 3 people.

- You should also be ready to write an email lede, specifically if you're aiming for a Senior Associate role.

So the hiring process was pretty thorough. It started with a phone interview with the hiring manager. Then came a skills test, which included an HTML test, an Excel/data test, and a writing/grammar test. After that, there was an in-person interview with three people. Finally, they extended an offer. They told me key things to talk about, like my technical experience and passion for the field (progressive non-profits, making the world a better place, using technology for communications, etc.). These points really seemed to help. You can tell they're looking for go-getters who will take initiative and figure things out independently.
