I applied on Indeed and a week later I had my interview, and then got told I had the job all within 2 weeks. The interview was via Teams. It started with some HR questions, then I had a 30-minute interview where we discussed dealing with a difficult customer, what experience I have in that area, how I would fit in, and what I know about M Group. I also did an Ishihara test and got to ask some questions at the end.

It was my first interview experience in the UK. People were very friendly and tried to help me to have a better understanding. The interview included questions about Health and Safety, Technical questions about pavement maintenance. A requirement was having a valid driving licence in the UK.

Behavioral Other

The hiring process was really straightforward. First, there's an application, and if that goes well, you get a telephone interview. This call is competency-based and asks about the company's history. After that, there's an assessment center, which is also totally competency-based. Getting feedback after is super slow and unprofessional, with hardly any explanation for the wait.
