I went through the entire onsite interview process, which involved several stages. The interviews themselves were well-structured, covering SQL, Python, product/decision science, and behavioral aspects. The team I met was sharp and engaging. However, after the final interview, communication completely broke down. The recruiter initially said a decision would be made in 2-3 days, but I heard nothing for over 4 weeks despite my follow-ups. Interestingly, the job was reposted on LinkedIn during this time, with no update for me. Eventually, I got a generic rejection email. It was disappointing and unprofessional that there was no transparency or accountability at the end, especially after I'd put in so much time. Lyft could really improve by respecting candidates' time and giving timely, honest feedback.
