Behavioral Presentation

It's a few step interview. The first step is about 10 minutes, and we'll ask about your work history and skills, describe the job, and talk about the company. The next step is a two-part assignment where you'll create mock social media posts and a video to advertise a made-up product.

The job description changed a lot online, which was confusing. The first phone interview was good, and they sent the next steps right after: make a product promo video and 10 copywriting samples (5 Facebook, 5 Instagram) within a week. I submitted those, and two days later got an email to schedule a second Zoom interview with HR. This interview was all behavioral questions. The interviewer mentioned high turnover, blaming it on young employees wanting new things, and then said that because the role needs PPC and agency experience, I'd be put in a 'junior' level with a pay cut. This contradicted the job description I applied with, which didn't require PPC/agency experience and offered $50,000. They emailed about moving to the next step in the 'junior' level, but I declined because of the inconsistencies and red flags.

Behavioral Technical

I got into the interview process by applying online. The first step was a phone interview, which was great. The recruiter was super nice and told me upfront how many people applied for the job. She also said she'd save my resume if I didn't get this position. Right after, she sent me the next steps, which involved two assignments. I had to create a video to promote a product and write 10 copy samples, 5 for Facebook and 5 for Instagram. Before sending them in, I asked HR about owning the content I created. I wanted to know if the company would own my work, and if so, I'd expect to be paid for my time and ideas. They didn't really answer my question directly and instead sent me an automatic rejection for the role. This makes me think they might be one of those companies that try to get free ideas from candidates instead of paying them fairly.
