First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LVT (LiveView Technologies).
Software Engineer Intern
The first interview was on Zoom. A recruiter talked to me and asked me questions about how I would approach solving problems to check my design workflow. After a few problem-solving questions, we discussed my software engineering/programming background. A few days later, LVT asked me to come in person to meet with a team lead.
- Describe how you'd inform a customer about a security camera recording.
Software Engineer
Had a quick chat with the recruiter first. Then, there was a 1-hour in-person interview with two other engineers. After that, I had another short phone call with the head of engineering. The whole process was pretty straightforward and I had a good experience overall.
- Tell me about your understanding of React at a deeper level.
- Can you discuss some aspects of software architecture?
- What are your thoughts on designing new features?
Software Engineer
Honestly, the whole process here feels messed up. I've applied a bunch over the last few years and it's just so slow. Even with internal referrals, nothing seems to happen. The recruiter doesn't seem very motivated. If this is how working here is, I'm starting to think I should definitely skip.
- What do you know about our tech stack?
- Can you tell me about your past roles?
