Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LVMH.
Product Leader
The process had several parts. First, there was an online test with math, personality stuff, and puzzles. Then, I had a quick chat with a recruitment firm. After that, I did a case study and talked with a Product Leader. The last part was a full day in Paris with the team, involving group activities, more case studies, and an HR interview.
- What are your five-year career aspirations within this company?
Product Manager
The LVMH hiring process generally involves several stages to assess skills, alignment with group values, and potential for growth. First, they look at your application to see if it matches what they need. Then, there's a chat with HR, either by phone or video, to go over your background, why you're interested, and check some basic requirements. After that, you'll likely talk with the manager of the team and maybe the department director. These talks are to check your technical skills, how well you adapt, and if you fit the company culture. Sometimes, they'll give you a case study or a technical test to solve a practical problem or answer specific questions related to the job, testing your skills in a real-world scenario. Finally, you might meet key team members or management to confirm strategic alignment and mutual interest. If everything goes well, they'll make you a formal offer, and there might be some negotiation.
- Could you walk me through your career path and explain what brought you to this point?
- What is your reason for wanting to join LVMH?
- And why in this particular area?
Product Manager
This interview process mainly focused on industry knowledge, and it really depended on the connection you made with the interviewer. There was one round with HR, another with the direct manager, and the final one was with the GM. It wasn't an overly long process; mine wrapped up in about 3 weeks.
- Can you identify a brand with significant profit growth potential over the next three years and explain your reasoning?
