Intern
The interview process involves questions about your academic background and soft skills, and you need to prepare in English. It starts with general questions about your professional and academic experiences. The HR person conducting the interview was an intern and didn't have much information about the specific role, but she asked questions about soft skills and general topics.
- Questions about professional experiences and soft skills.
Intern
The interview process included a 2-minute intro video where candidates were asked about their interest in the company/position and the most adventurous thing they've done. This was followed by a group interview with 4-5 people via Teams, and finally an interview with the Department Director.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Have you ever faced a challenging situation or a difficult person in your past experiences or during teamwork?
- What sparked your interest in this company and this specific role?
Intern
Got through two rounds of interviews and some excel tests. Then they invited me to the office for the final round, which was really intimidating. Two interviewers were there and just started typing like crazy when I started talking, which made me feel uncomfortable. They had a really condescending attitude. Even after I passed the excel test, they still seemed unsure if I really knew excel or could handle it. It didn't feel like an inclusive or motivating place. They asked questions that didn't really fit the role. Also, they didn't mention the salary until this final interview, and it was incredibly low for London.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a significant challenge?
- What insights can you offer from your time as a master's student?
- How would you describe your experience working in beauty retail?
