First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LVMH.
Client Advisor
There were 2 interviews in total. The first was with a store manager, and the second was with a regional manager. The whole thing was done in under 2 weeks. They asked pretty standard questions for this kind of role, nothing weird.
- Can you share your biggest strength and weakness?
- Describe a situation where you had to calm down an unhappy client.
Consultant
I had an interview but haven't heard back since, even though the recruiter said they'd get back to me fairly quickly. The company seems good though, in terms of welcoming and developing its employees.
- Can you describe your most challenging experience managing a team conflict?
Client Advisor
Referral required. They're mostly looking for part-timers, not full-time. The interview involves meeting with different managers (for leather goods, accessories/exotic goods, ready-to-wear, and a director). These meetings are one-on-one. Managers tend to ask the same questions repeatedly and don't seem to coordinate with each other. Responses can be slow, so it's good to follow up and ask when you should expect a response. They won't tell you the specific reason why you weren't hired.
- What does being a client mean to you?
- Could you describe your past role and your motivation for wanting to join LVMH?
- Would you prefer part-time or full-time work?
