Implementation Manager
Started with a quick chat with the recruiter, then got an assignment. They didn't give much guidance on the assignment, and the interviewer seemed a bit out of their depth. They critiqued my presentation's design, even though my background isn't in web design. For an unpaid task, that felt like asking for too much, especially before even talking to a hiring manager or team member beyond the recruiter. Honestly, I felt like they were just fishing for business ideas.
- Complete an assignment which was a presentation, with limited guidance on the questions to address.
Implementation Manager
The interview process was quite standard. It started with a phone screening, followed by a presentation. Then there was a management interview that lasted about two hours, and after that, three reference checks were completed. I received the offer over the phone, and the official offer letter arrived the very next day. There wasn't any flexibility for negotiating the salary.
- Can you summarize yourself in five words?
- Describe an instance where you handled a conflict and your resolution approach.
Implementation Manager
First I had an intro call with the recruiter. After that, I was sent instructions to finish a presentation where I had to do some analysis of websites and sample emails. Then, I was invited to interview with four people who were at different levels on their implementation team. It went on for a bit over 2 hours, but they didn't actually ask me to present my work. The recruiter then asked for three supervisory references, and that included my current manager. I suggested an alternative because I didn't want my current manager to know I was looking for a job, and they said the previous two were fine. Both of them were contacted. Two weeks later, I got an automatic rejection email. I asked for feedback, and the recruiter mentioned a lack of experience in the same topics they talked about with me before asking for references. It was all very confusing, and I didn't feel like my references' time or my own was respected.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how would your last three supervisors rank your performance?
