My first interview was supposed to be over the phone, but it took about two weeks to get it scheduled. Then, when I called in at the scheduled time, they told me I missed the interview the day before. After I tried a second time, the regional manager never got back to me about the job. About four months later, I got a text asking me to interview again. The second interview was in the mall, in a spot where people were napping nearby. The interviewer didn't write anything down and didn't seem to be following a plan.

I found the job posting online and got a response quickly. The first interview was with a Regional Manager, lasting about an hour, focusing on my previous retail work and how it compares to Sunglass Hut. After that, I had to fill out an application and complete an online assessment. I was told I might have a follow-up with another Regional Manager. I did both, and the next day I got scheduled for the next interview. This second interview was with another Regional Manager. We covered similar ground, but she dug into how I'd manage communication in a situation where I'm the only one working, and also about the importance of ethics and good character. The day after that, the first Regional Manager called to give me the outcome. He also checked if this was really the right move for me, as it would be a big change. Then, he had me do another online assessment, which was much harder and took about three hours. It had a lot of math, specifically ratios and percentages, an English section with grammar and vocabulary, and three long personality and logic tests. He mentioned it could take up to three hours. I finished it that night, and he also called my references that same night. The next day, he met with me to offer me the job. I accepted, pending the background check and drug test results.

The interview process had 4 stages, and it was really lengthy. I spoke with the area manager, retail manager, the retail director for the country, and another retail director for Europe. They even changed the interview location a few times, which made it harder to get ready for the next stage because I hadn't visited those other stores. In the end, they offered me a different store than the one I applied for, and it's much further away.
