Behavioral Technical

I applied through LinkedIn and a recruiter contacted me within a week to discuss the role and my background. The recruiter asked me to research the product and even visit some optometrist offices or retail stores. Later, the recruiter emailed me on a Friday afternoon asking about my availability for an interview on Monday. I provided my availability and didn't hear back until Monday morning to confirm the interview for that day. This made me realize the recruiter was disorganized, as evidenced by numerous spelling errors and incorrect names in their emails. I interviewed with the manager that Monday, and honestly, the manager didn't seem very put together. The interview itself was okay, and they mentioned I'd hear from the recruiter about the next steps. I followed up with both the manager and the recruiter, but received no response.

It was a long process, 6 interviews in total, and they didn't really tell me what to expect or when a decision would be made. The whole thing took 7 weeks. First, I had a standard HR screening call. Then, two video interviews with the hiring manager. After that, I met the hiring manager in person. The next step was a task where I had to plan out my sales route, followed by a video call to discuss it with the hiring manager. The final interview was another video call with someone who seemed to be the hiring manager's assistant. During my presentation, this person actually started nodding off and pretending to fall asleep, which was incredibly distracting and made it hard to finish. A week after that last interview, HR let me know I didn't get the job.
