The process started with a call from HR to go over the recruiting stages and talk about the job, where I introduced myself and my experience, and shared my salary expectations. Following that, I got a PDF with C++ questions that I answered and sent back. Then, the recruiter contacted me again to set up a technical interview. In the technical interview, the interviewer introduced himself and his team, and I gave a short presentation about myself. After that, I was given some code snippets to work through and explain my approach. Post-interview, HR called to congratulate me and reconfirm salary expectations, but unfortunately, I never heard back with feedback.

Technical Coding

I was recruited as a Senior C++ Developer but I'm actually a Mid-Level C Developer. The HR recruiters seem to be inviting everyone for an interview, regardless of their suitability, likely due to bonuses for new hires.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The C code test had poor indentation and seemed to assess attention to detail rather than actual C skills.
  • The questions weren't very difficult.

The interview process had 3 stages: first, an interview with the recruiter where we talked about the skills needed. Then, a technical interview focused on C++. Finally, an interview about the project I would be working on, which involved some technical questions for me but was mostly a presentation about the project. Everyone was really polite and friendly, I had a good impression.

  • Can you explain memory management in C++?
  • What's your understanding of C++ standards like 11/14?
