First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lusha Systems.
Am
The initial recruiter call was really short, just under 5 minutes. It was conducted entirely in Hebrew, which was odd since the job is in English. I had trouble understanding the recruiter, and I don't think she was really listening to me either.
- What makes you want to join Lusha?
- Are you currently employed at your former company?
Backend Developer
The process includes two technical interviews. The first interview involved a presentation of the company and role, followed by me presenting my background, and concluding with a Python coding challenge. The second interview was with the director and centered on a detailed architecture question. I felt they were a bit too fixated on their specific tech stack.
- Can you implement the unsubscribe functionality for a group of users with shared contact information?
- Could you design an architecture on a whiteboard to handle a large volume of API tokens from users, query the API with these tokens, and store the data in a data lake, ensuring scalability and data integrity while respecting API limitations?
Customer Support Representative
Day 1, I sent my CV. By Day 7, an HR person called. Even though I applied for customer support, they asked me if I saw myself in technical support or customer success in the future. Day 10, I had a Zoom call with a teammate who seemed to be a CS Representative, not a hiring manager. Day 14, I had to go to the Tel-Aviv office for a test, which was strange because other companies do this online. The office was nice though, and the person I met offered me water and coffee. Day 28, I had a Zoom call with two hiring managers, the Customer Success Lead and the Customer Support Lead. Unfortunately, I didn't pass this interview and didn't move forward.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for the next two years?
- Describe your experience from your last role.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
So, first we had a quick video chat to get the gist of my background. Then, I met with the Chief People Officer in person to go over my experience in more detail. After that, I had another in-person meeting with the Team Lead. The Team Lead had actually looked me up beforehand, which was pretty cool. Then came a simulation where I had to do a mock HR interview with a candidate. Finally, they did a reference check.
- Could you tell me about the different kinds of roles you've recruited for?
- What recruitment metrics do you typically track?
- Can you share an example of a difficult situation you managed during a hiring process?
