First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lush.
Store Manager
I had an online interview with two HR managers for the first stage. They were super positive and made the interview feel comfortable. Lush really knows what they're looking for, so it's best to be really specific about your experience and understanding of the company. Even though I didn't make it to the next round, I got some really good feedback, which is pretty unusual.
- Can you tell me about your experience in increasing footfall?
Store Manager
The interview process included a group presentation and then a one-on-one meeting. For the presentation, I had to create a business plan covering the next 12 months, making sure to include the Christmas period. After that, the interview lasted about 45 minutes to an hour and involved a range of different questions.
- What is your motivation for wanting to become a manager?
Store Manager
The interviewer was rude and complained about English people while in England, making me uncomfortable. She forced me to massage random people's hands without their consent and then stared at me. She ignored other white interviewees.
- The interviewer asked if I could lengthen my apron.
