We had a group interview with about 10 other people for a seasonal job, and 4 managers led us through role-playing exercises. They also gave us a full rundown of the brand, its mission, and its values. The tasks were centered around creating fun and memorable interactions and building rapport. It felt enjoyable and expressive, truly reflecting the brand's inclusive and welcoming spirit. We even got goody bags at the end!

Group Presentation

It was a group interview, and it felt like a competition to grab their attention. I'm usually really passionate about their products, but I couldn't really show that in the interview, especially since it was in a group setting. A private setting would have been better for me to express myself.

I applied online and about 2-3 weeks later, I got invited for a casual trial shift. It was about 30-40 minutes on the shop floor where I had to greet customers, do a product demo, and help out as much as I could. You don't need to know everything, and you can point customers to other staff. It was a really fun process. Afterward, I was taken into the office, got some feedback (which was all positive!), and then they asked about my availability before offering me the job in person.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • How do you think the trial shift went?
  • Which Lush products are your favorites?
  • What days/times are you available to work?
