I applied for the store manager role and heard back about a week later to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview led to setting up a culture interview a few days after that. The following Monday, I got an email to schedule a final video interview for the next day. Throughout this, they kept saying Lush wants to ensure you know why you weren't selected if that's the case, like "it's not no it's not right now," and you wouldn't be "left in the ether." After the last interview, they said a decision would be made that week and I'd hear back by the next week either way. It's now been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I emailed after a week with no response. It's disappointing to be ghosted, especially after they repeatedly said they'd update me. A simple email reply would have been good. I expected better from Lush, given how nice everyone seemed and how well I thought the interviews went. The job posting is gone now, so I assume they hired someone. It's really a shame they didn't have the decency to let me know.

The interview process started with a recorded video response to some questions, where they really focused on diversity and inclusion topics. Then, I had a remote video call with a recruiter. After that, I went to a store for an in-person interview. This part involved watching the team work, coaching them, and looking at their results. The last interview was a video call with the market leader and regional manager, and we talked a lot about coaching and developing the team.

The first interview was a digital one where I just answered some questions on video. Then, I had an interview with HR with typical questions for the role. The third interview was with the district manager. They asked questions similar to HR's, but also had me look at reports and talk about opportunities I saw. Before this interview, I had to secret shop the store and then answer questions about that experience. The last interview was with the regional manager. She asked more questions about coaching my team. She asked one really good question I hadn't heard before that stumped me for a bit, but I can't recall what it was.
