They have you demonstrate how products work on the manager to test your people skills. You also have to show you know the products by talking about their benefits. The goal is to see how you interact with people and if you're not too intense or too passive.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was very straightforward. I met with the store manager, and the interview started on time. It was a professional and enjoyable experience. They had me do a little bit of role-playing where I had to 'sell' some of the products. It was really relaxed and felt like a normal conversation. I was offered the job right there on the spot!

Group Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a group hiring event before the holidays, which was fun and gamified, almost like a mini-training. We started with a getting-to-know-you icebreaker, then did a small group discussion about Lush. The store manager made sure to discourage greenwashing, which was impressive. We then participated in a product-lookup game where we competed against another team to see how well we perform. This part felt a bit awkward due to space constraints, but we succeeded. We were also taught how to apply hand creams, which was pleasant. After that, there were one-on-one interviews with the store manager. I got a second round a few days later with a different manager, where I had to sell a random product in French. I had to improvise, and felt intimidated, so I didn't sell it as well as I could have, especially in my second language. I think that's why I didn't get the job. They did call to let me know their decision, which I appreciated.
