It was a nice, two round interview process, aimed at assessing cultural fit and how I would handle certain work situations. I went over my professional background and specifically the patient research. I discussed my professional background, making sure to emphasize the neuroscience-related projects.

The hiring process kicked off with a brief 15-minute phone chat to quickly go over my background and what motivates me. Then, a second interview was set up via video call, lasting about an hour. After that, I heard nothing for over three weeks. Eventually, I got a rejection email, with no explanation. I tried asking why, but never got a reply. I suspect it might have something to do with my hijab.

I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, country manager, and HR manager. It wasn't a situational or role-play kind of interview. Mostly, they asked about my past experiences, why I wanted to leave my current job, and they shared details about the job's requirements and what they expect from the role.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online and heard back about 3 weeks later for a first interview. It was with the security team manager and a senior team member. The interview experience was great - very relaxed, starting with introductions. I presented myself for 15 minutes, and then we went through some general and specific questions about the role. The whole thing lasted 90 minutes. They were really organized and sent over an agenda beforehand.
