My first call with Lunar was with a recruiter, who mostly worked with me to go over job specs, my interests, and questions I had. He then helped me schedule a "second round interview" with an ME manager (1 hr long). After that went well, the same recruiter worked with me to schedule my "third round interviews" which were three more 1-hour interviews, each with a different senior ME.

- For designing an electric toothbrush, mining truck, and satellite, what considerations would you have for each? How would they be similar or different across the three designs?
- Could you draw a stress strain curve for steel, labeling important features like Young's modulus and yield strength? Then, on the same axes, draw curves for a harder steel, a rubber elastomer, and glass, showing their relative properties accurately.
- Tell me about one of your favorite ME projects. What challenges did you face, what design considerations did you explore, what were the results and impact, and what did you enjoy about it?

The interview process took about two weeks and involved six 1-hour video calls. I chatted with the recruiter after each call. We touched on some technical stuff during the calls, but mostly it was about my past experiences and what drives me.

The interview was a straightforward phone conversation. We discussed the job description and introductions. They then asked me some basic questions about relocation and my past project experiences. There wasn't any technical interview component. It seemed to go well, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a callback, and I'm not sure why.
