Development Engineer
Applied online and then chatted with their internal recruiter a few weeks later. About a week after that, I went onsite to meet the hiring manager face-to-face. Things got delayed for about a month due to holidays and travel, but then I was invited back for a full onsite which involved a presentation and about 4-5 hours of one-on-one chats. They gave me the decision/offer within a few days after the interview. Overall, it was a good experience; the HR people were responsive and I had some interesting talks with some really smart people in the field. Nobody was aggressive and everyone seemed genuinely interested in my background and how it could help the company. As always, make sure you know your resume inside and out.
- Tell me about your experience with a particular project. What would you change about it? Were there other ways you could have approached it?
- What was your role in the so and so project? How could you have made it better? Did you consider alternative methods?
- Describe your work on the so and so project. What improvements could you have made? Were there different ways you could have executed it?
Software Engineer
This interview process felt really organized and welcoming. I felt comfortable talking about myself and asking the panel questions. The interviewers, two IT managers and two HR staff, were pleasant and asked questions clearly. The IT manager I spoke with was the primary interviewer. You really need to be ready for this interview because he asked a lot of questions, especially about technical skills, and wanted me to show my past code to check my knowledge. It was tough but a good interview overall.
- Can you explain your understanding of OOP?
- Could you discuss NoSQL and SQL database structures?
Development Engineer
The hiring process took two weeks, which was quite fast. However, the HR department was slow and rescheduled appointments multiple times. They also didn't provide clear answers to my questions. The interview itself was casual, with not many questions asked, mostly about my past experiences.
- Tell me about your experience with LED technology.
