Population Health Manager
Recruiter, Manager, and Panel recruiters were upfront and honest. The process took about a month from first application to hired. It was an easy process, and the recruiter kept me updated about each step through the process.
- Can you describe your experience with value-based care?
Data Engineer
The interview process for the Data Engineer role at Lumeris was thorough. It started with a recruiter call to go over my background and the job. Then, there was a technical screen that included a coding challenge using SQL, data manipulation, and problem-solving skills, and a live coding session to solve an ETL problem and talk about my experience with Python, SQL, and cloud tech. A behavioral interview followed, focusing on teamwork, data quality, and troubleshooting, especially in a healthcare context. The last part involved discussing how to design big data pipelines and my fit with the company culture. After getting good feedback, they made me an offer with details on the team and career growth. It was a professional and engaging process that showed Lumeris is serious about data in healthcare.
- How would you collaborate with different teams to solve a difficult data problem and make sure everyone was on the same page?
Population Health Manager
I had a phone screen. The recruiter seemed nice and answered my questions. I got an auto-rejection email late at night, which felt really unprofessional. The person this job reports to is a Director who's been in the same role for almost 5 years. It sounds like a job with no future and limited chances for growth. It's always interesting when companies that are struggling are picky about candidates, especially when their Glassdoor and Indeed ratings are so low (around 2.6-2.8).
- Tell me about your experience.
- What makes you interested in this particular role?
- What is your earliest availability to start?
Population Health Consultant
I had a recruiter phone screening. They told me I'd hear back in a few days if the hiring manager liked my resume. Then, I was completely ghosted by the recruiter. I even sent a follow-up email asking for an update, but got nothing. I know this happens, but I think an email saying they're not moving forward is the least they could do. After reading company reviews, I probably dodged a bullet.
- Can you describe your experience and familiarity with value-based care?
