I had a call with HR which was fine. I got good feedback quickly and they pushed me to take the next interview the following day. I couldn't pick the time for the second interview and there was a mix-up between HR and the technical recruiter. I got rejected a week later, but then some months later they emailed me saying I was shortlisted and I said yes. A few weeks after that, the recruiter messaged me asking if I could start in two days. I needed a job so I said yes, but then heard nothing back. A few weeks later I got another email trying to keep me interested as a shortlisted candidate. I was pretty annoyed by the lack of respect for my time.

The first step was a technical assessment, which was of average difficulty and lasted for about 1 hour and 6 minutes. It included 11 multiple-choice questions and one SQL query. After that, I had an interview with a recruiter, which we scheduled at our convenience.

They called me for an interview and said my profile and experience were a perfect match. At the end, they mentioned I'd get an invite for a second interview soon. But the next morning, I got an email saying they're moving forward with other candidates and my skills don't match their requirements. It's so disappointing. They asked about my salary expectations at the end and I told them what I'm looking for. They should have told me their budget and given me a chance to negotiate instead of rejecting me for that reason.
