I want to echo what others have said. I first spoke with the recruiter, and then a week later, I interviewed with Michelle, the CFO. She seemed uninterested and acted like she was doing me a favor by interviewing me. I was told I'd hear back in a few days because they were interviewing other candidates. It took 2.5 months to get an email saying they went with other people. The interview process itself isn't hard, but the interviewers seem uninterested and bored, and the communication is really lacking.

So, I went through CleverTech's hiring process, and it was kinda all over the place. Applying was cool, they wanted two videos and ten short answers, which was a neat way to show off. The first call with the recruiter was pretty standard, just asking about me, if I knew CleverTech, and some 'what if' stuff. The person was nice, made it easy. Then there was this online test for attention to detail, which was easy enough, not too much hassle. But then, the communication after that was rough. They said I'd hear back that week, but nope, got an automated rejection email the next week. Super impersonal. I tried asking for feedback, but they just ignored me. It's a bummer when you put in time and they just ghost you. Companies should really give feedback, it helps us grow and shows respect. So yeah, the process itself was okay and the people were friendly, but the lack of communication and feedback at the end really ruined it. It's a two-way street, and ghosting at the end really left a bad taste.
- Tell me about a time you had to handle an urgent problem.
- What's your approach to leadership?
- What about your past experience is relevant?

I submitted my online application late Tuesday night, and by Wednesday morning, the talent acquisition manager emailed me to schedule an interview for Thursday. The interview was a casual Zoom call. The TA manager walked me through the company and the job duties, and asked a couple of questions. She mentioned there would be two more interviews if I moved forward, and that the whole process should wrap up within a week of the first interview. She said I'd hear back by Friday. On Thursday afternoon, I got an email saying they were moving forward with other candidates, but they'd keep my info on file.
- Can you describe a situation at work where you had to quickly resolve an urgent problem?
- What types of people do you find you collaborate with most effectively?
- What are your preferences regarding the management style of your superiors?
