We discussed my experience, the company's culture, and mutual expectations. The conversation lasted 25 minutes, and I received an offer the same day.

The recruiter initiated contact with an unusual question about salary expectations for a remote role, which felt presumptuous as they assumed I was working in an office. They didn't provide a salary range and rejected my stated number, which I found unnecessary. It would be better if they posted salary ranges upfront to avoid such conversations.
