So after my application got accepted, the first thing was an online assessment. It was mostly about data structures and algorithms, with a little bit on iOS. They wanted to see general tech skills first before anything else.

So, first you apply by sending in your CV and filling out a form. Then there's an online assignment, which usually includes a coding task and some multiple-choice questions. After that, you have an HR interview where they ask about your motivation and if you'd be a good fit for the company culture. Finally, there's a technical interview with the engineers, where they'll hit you with problem-solving, system design, or coding questions.

Coding Behavioral

It all started when an HR person hit me up on LinkedIn, asking for my resume and phone number. Then, another HR called me to chat about some stuff. After that, I got this technical test, which was a Ruby web app project with a ton of requirements (like needing a mysql database, a job queue, elastic search, and a golang client). I figured they wanted to test a lot of skills, so I dove in and spent my weekend working on it. I ended up emailing them the link to my code repo. About a week later, I got this weird email back with a broken template and just some generic comments that seemed like they just copied and pasted the reviewer's notes without really looking at my work, you know? No back-and-forth, no meeting to discuss it, not even a review on Github. I tried asking for a meeting to go over the feedback or at least get a proper code review, but radio silence.
