First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lucid Motors.
Supply Manager
There were consistent gaps in communication, and then ghosting after the team member interview. It's been 4 weeks in the hiring process, and they should have the courtesy to at least reach out. No wonder they have such a high turnover rate. The company that treats people like this does not deserve to succeed and will not in the long run.
- Can you share your experience?
Manager
It was a quick and easy interview process done over Zoom. Scheduling went smoothly. Everyone was punctual and organized, which made for a productive conversation. The interviewer was open about the company culture and the team's challenges.
- Can you describe your people management experience?
- Could you share details about your educational background?
Manager
I initially interviewed and made a really good impression, leading to a second interview with my potential boss. Despite some initial hesitation due to circumstances and the risk of leaving my current job with short notice, I went ahead. They rushed the process, and after I nailed the second interview, they practically offered me the job on the spot. I declined, though I seriously considered it. A year later, I was laid off and reapplied. A recruiter called, and we had a strong start, scheduling another interview. But then they ghosted me, which was odd and rude. A few weeks later, I got a survey, and in it, I saw "Do Not Engage" next to my name. It seems declining an offer led to blacklisting. I wanted to share this so others are aware of the petty and retaliatory environment.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you share an instance where you handled a challenging customer?
