So, I first connected with them at a co-op fair at my university. Right after that, I got a phone call inviting me for an interview while they were still on campus. That initial interview went pretty well, and they then asked me to come in for a second, on-site interview. This second one was pretty long, like 8 hours, and it involved a bunch of one-on-one chats with different people working there, plus a quick look around the facility.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

My interview process was pretty straightforward. I spoke with two junior Chemical Engineers who were friendly but professional. Compared to other interviews I've had with oil and manufacturing companies, Lubrizol's felt very structured, though not overly rigid. After that, they had me do a site tour which was part of a half-day interview process. The half-day was quite long, but all the interviews and conversations went well. They showed me around the plant and then offered me the position a few days later.

I dropped off my resume during an on campus recruiting event and they reached out to schedule an on campus interview for the next day. It was a 2 on 1 interview, and it felt pretty laid back. They mainly asked questions about my resume and what I expected from their program.
