Coding Technical System Design Behavioral

So first, there was an online coding test, just to see if you can code and solve problems. It was kinda moderate difficulty, mainly focused on DSA and algorithms. Then, we had a technical interview where we dived deep into system design and other technical stuff, also talked about my past projects. After that, the hiring manager talked to me, focusing on my experience, ownership, and how I deal with problems in production. Lastly, HR talked about culture, career goals, and salary. The whole thing was pretty smooth and clear.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Regarding DSA, focusing on Arrays, strings, hash maps, recursion, time & space complexity, problem-solving approach, can you explain your approach and analyze the time complexity for finding the length of the longest subarray with a sum equal to K given an array of integers?
  • For System Design, considering Scalability, data flow, APIs, fault tolerance, trade-offs, real-world constraints, can you design a scalable system for a URL shortening service and explain how you would handle high traffic, data storage, and failure scenarios?
  • In terms of Behavioral aspects like Communication, ownership, teamwork, conflict resolution, decision-making, could you describe a situation where you faced a major technical challenge, how you approached the problem, and what was the outcome?

Technical Technical Behavioral

I got through the Technical L1, L2, and then the HR rounds. After that, they called me into the office for physical verification. During the HR chat, I decided to be upfront and let them know I was 12 weeks pregnant. Right after I told them, they put my verification on hold. Two days later, I got a generic rejection email saying I wasn't selected, which was a bummer. Pregnancy is just a phase, not something that should affect whether someone is hired based on their skills and experience. Hiring should be about talent, not personal stuff. I really hope companies become more inclusive and ethical in their hiring.

Technical Coding Behavioral

So for LTIMindtree, first you do this online test, it has aptitude, coding, and communication stuff. Then, they hit you with a couple of technical rounds. These are all about core computer science like OOPs, data structures, DBMS, and your projects. After that, there might be a final HR round. This is to check if you're a good cultural fit, see how you communicate, and ask some behavioral questions. They want to know if you can adapt, work in a team, and if you're okay with relocating or working in shifts. It's a pretty set process, usually takes a few weeks. They use things like MST WebEx. You gotta be ready with your coding skills and know your projects inside out.

  • Tell me about your knowledge of Database Management Systems.
