The interview process involves 2 levels of interviews, plus a surprise interview after the HR round to weed out fake candidates. These first 2 levels, with both the company and the client, happen after hiring. The whole process is long and can be quite exhausting. Sometimes the feedback isn't great and they'll ask you to reschedule the interview.

So I had L1, L2, and an HR round, and I was feeling pretty good about it all. But then, bam, rejected. I dug into it and found out it was because they said I'm from a non-technical background and don't have 4 years of experience. Seriously? I have a BCA and an MSC in BigData and Analytics, and they knew I had 3 years of experience from the first phone screening. It feels like these HR people are just a waste of time, and honestly, it's why people dislike HR folks. They even made me travel to the Bangalore office just to check my ID card. Total waste of my time and such a unprofessional way to handle things.

So first an HR will call you and guide you through the whole process. Then there will be 2 rounds of technical interviews. The very last round is an HR ROUND. The first two rounds will be focused on the tech stack required for the role and what you've mentioned in your resume. In my case, they mostly focused on SQL and Python and FastAPI. And they will ask you to write some code related to Python DSA or SQL.

  • Can you tell me about your background and skills?
  • What is your availability to join?
  • Could you write some Python DSA code?
