My interview process was pretty quick, done in one day. I was among the first to be interviewed for the technical part after the aptitude test. I'm guessing they call people for interviews based on how well they did on the aptitude test, maybe in rank order. If you scored high, you probably got called earlier. But yeah, that's just a guess. So, first the aptitude test, then the technical/HR interview. They really want you to talk a lot about your interests in the technical/HR interview.

To be eligible for the written test, students needed to have scored above 70% aggregate. The written test itself was pretty straightforward, with aptitude questions ranging from easy to moderate difficulty. After the written test, about 10 to 14 students from the electrical batch moved on to the interview rounds. They were offering a package of 6.55 LPA for the 2019 batch. The interview was quite relaxed; the interviewers focused on basic questions related to power systems and machines. Lastly, there was an English assessment where they gave a proverb and asked for a 2-minute impromptu speech on it to gauge English fluency and skills.

I went through two rounds for L&T construction campus recruitment. The first was an aptitude test with quantitative aptitude and general English sections, totaling 111 questions in 90 minutes. There were no negative marks and sectional cutoffs applied. After this, 15 out of 35 students advanced to the interview stage. The interviewer was friendly and asked basic questions from various mechanical engineering disciplines, then delved into my resume. Following that, standard HR questions were posed, including a two-minute speaking topic.
