Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LP Analyst.
Summer Analyst
The interview process was good, involving one technical interview, one behavioral interview, and one mixed interview. I reached the final interview stage and felt I performed well, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out. I was in a time crunch needing their decision quickly due to another offer, but they responded promptly.
- Can you describe what the company does?
Analyst
I had a phone interview and then a video interview. It was mostly behavioral, not too difficult, but you should research the company and industry beforehand. There was also a personality test and an Excel test. The Excel module checked general skills and comfort with formulas and features, not modeling. If you're experienced with Excel, it's not hard.
- Could you tell me why this company and role appeal to you?
Analyst
Right after I applied, I had to take a 15-minute aptitude test to be considered, which was annoying since I'd already done tons of tests for this company. Then, sometimes HR emails asking for my salary expectations, I give them a range, and then... nothing. They ghost me. Total waste of time.
- A variety of math problems were asked.
