First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Loyal Source.
Nurse Practitioner
The recruiter was efficient and organized, with great follow-up. The second interview wasn't as efficient; it seemed the manager was reading from a sheet of questions and writing down responses. The manager mentioned one detail different from the recruiter regarding travel expectations (10% of the job), which might have led to turning down the offer if it had been extended.

Senior Recruiter
This Recruiting Specialist job is all about helping the main Talent Acquisition Managers with the full hiring process. You'll handle both small and big batches of hourly and salaried jobs. Usually, you'll stick to one area but might help out elsewhere if things get super busy, like during seasonal rushes. Part of your job is finding candidates for the roles you're assigned, managing the whole workflow from start to finish, and making sure the hiring managers get good people. You'll also be the main point of contact for candidates, so making sure they have a good time going through the process is key.

Physician Assistant
I was contacted by a recruiter about a contract healthcare provider position with Customs and Border Protection. They give you the job description and ask questions about your experience and background. This job needs security clearance, so a clean professional and personal background is important. After the initial chat, there are more conversations with the hiring team, and it can be a long and intrusive process. The work itself could be very rewarding though.
- Are there any legal actions pending against your professional license, past or present?
- Have you ever faced professional discipline?
- Can you detail your professional experience?
Medical Transcriptionist
They initially reached out to me about the job. After I expressed interest, I got a call for a preliminary interview to check my qualifications. We scheduled another phone interview for the next day, but I missed it by 3 minutes because I got the time zones mixed up. I called back right away and left a message, but no one answered. During the first call, they mentioned I'd get an email summarizing our conversation, and I was supposed to reply with my resume, but I never got that email. I've sent lots of texts and left many voicemails for the recruiter about not getting the email, but I still haven't heard back. I even tried calling the number on their website to reach someone else, but no one answers on any extension. It's either really bad communication on their part or a scam.
- Confirm you meet the qualifications from the job application.
- Verify you have the qualifications mentioned in the job description.
